WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
We've got a BIG mountain, now let's learn how to ski it!
Freeride is different from our park-based programs. We spend our days in trees, on cliffs, in bowls, and off the beaten path — learning to read terrain and ski it with skill and safety.
1. Line selection: Reading terrain, choosing lines,
and executing with commitment.
2. Air and cliff skills: Progressive air introduction, from small drops to bigger features.
3. Steep and technical:
Skiing chutes, trees, and variable snow with control.
4. Mountain safety: Avalanche awareness, buddy systems, and decision-making in big terrain.
WHO IT'S FOR
Skiers who look off-piste and see possibility.
Freeride is for athletes 10+ who love skiing the whole mountain, not just the terrain park or mogul course. Freeride athletes work to compete in IFSA Freeride Frenzy events.

New this season: Freeride Development crew! With the ever evolving world of freestyle skiing, we have added a freeride development group to give athletes the foundations to be successful competitors in Freeride events.

Freeride requires solid all-mountain skiing ability.
