Train to Compete

LTAD

Performance is for experienced comp athletes the have been approved by our coaches. Athletes should be comfortable on all terrain, competent across moguls, jumps, and rails, and prepared to commit to more training.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

Outperforming yourself to reach the podium.

Performance is where training gets intentional. Every rep has a purpose, every comp is a data point, and progress isn't just measured in tricks landed.

1. Comp-ready technique: Refining every element to hold up under scoring, judging, and pressure.

2. Season peaking: Building training blocks that peak at the events that matter most.

3. Mental performance: Managing nerves, focus, and recovery like the professional athletes you're becoming.

4. Deliberate Practice: Daily intention setting and understanding "why" you do things.

WHO IT'S FOR

Skiers chasing provincial podiums.

Performance is for athletes 12+ who've moved through Development and are ready to compete at Timber Tours and beyond. Weekly training, mandatory event participation, and off-snow conditioning are all part of the deal. This is a real commitment, but so is the reward.

Performance athletes are expected to compete in Timber Tours and possibly Canada Cups. Some travel required.

MEET YOUR COACHES

My philosophy for my students and athletes is what it was for myself— “the better you become at skiing, the more fun you can have with the added confidence.” So my goal is to always build confidence, skill level, and encourage new experiences.
