Please see below for answers to some of our most frequently asked questions:
1. What time do athletes begin training?
All athletes should meet at 9:15 am and be ready for a prompt departure at 9:30 am. If you are late, your group will not wait, but we will do our best to help you connect with them.
2. Where do we meet?
All FUNdamentalz, Freestylerz and Development team athletes meet on the looker's right side of the Mile 1 Chair. Please be aware of the access corridor adjacent to this area and do not block it for other skiers! Competition Team members will be contacted directly by coaches prior to each training session and will be given instructions regarding meeting place.
3. Who do we look for?
All FPSC coaches will be wearing black Freestyle Panorama jackets. Any member of our coaching staff will be able to direct you towards your assigned group.
4. What should we bring?
Dress for the weather! Make sure you have warm layers and hand/foot-warmers if necessary. Make sure you have a helmet and goggles. Skiers without a proper-fitting, safety-approved helmet will not be permitted to participate.
5. When do we break?
Our only scheduled and official break is lunch which occurs from 11:30 am - 12:15 pm. This is a parent-supervised break time. Coaches will not be responsible for athletes during this time. Any additional breaks are at the discretion of the coach and will be supervised by the coach.
6. When does training end?
Regular training ends at 2:45 pm each day.
7. What happens at the end of the day?
Groups will meet families at 2:45 pm at the bottom of Showoff where coaches will ensure each athlete has met an appropriate adult before being released. If you have any questions about athlete progress, the program, or anything at all, this is a great time to check in with the coaching staff.
