Freeride Development Team
(Ages 12+)
Our Freeride program is designed for adventurous skiers looking to push their limits on challenging terrain and test their skills in Junior Freeski Competitions.
Focus: Freeski in Big Mountain terrain.
This program offers athletes the opportunity to develop their skills in a variety of freeride disciplines including big mountain, steeps, drops, and technical lines, while emphasizing creativity, flow, and confidence on natural terrain.
With a focus on individual progression, athletes will work closely with experienced coaches to refine their technique, decision-making abilities, and terrain assessment skills. Whether you want to compete in freeski competitions or simply master big mountain skiing, our flexible program allows you to carve your own path.
Athletes are strongly encouraged to test their skills by participating in at least one Junior Freeski competition per season such as Panorama’s IFSA Freeride Frenzy*. Skiers must be comfortable on double-black terrain (e.g. Taynton Bowl, Dream Zone). A valid Freestyle membership is required for participation. This group may occasionally require a Monster Pass.
Ready to push your limits? The Freeride program is waiting for you!
*IFSA events will require an IFSA membership.
