Freestyle Panorama Ski Club

Figured out the basics of skiing and ready to learn how to ski in that Freestyle way?  Your journey starts with the Fundamentalz of Freestyle!

 

Focus: Build your foundation.

 

Discover the FUNdamentalz of Freestyle Skiing! From cruising through bumps to soaring over jumps, this program covers all the basics you need to kickstart your freestyle skiing journey. You'll develop essential skills such as how to maintain a strong stance, carve effectively, hit your first jump safely, try out some tricks, and start mastering the mogul course. Most importantly, you’ll experience tons of smiles, laughs, and the chance to make lifelong friendships along the way! 

 

Athletes in this group are encouraged to participate in our annual Kootenay Freestyle Classic (KFC) competition, as well as BC’s exciting new Shred Series, giving them the opportunity to showcase their new skills.

 

To join, skiers must be able to load a chairlift independently and consistently make parallel turns on blue runs at Panorama. A valid Freestyle membership is required for participation.
